A fleshy mass hovers above. All the weight and doubt intimidating my process.
Anxiety manifesting during the search for peace and precision. A forever unfinished ensō drawn in salt.
Some spaces can conjure up a simultaneous feeling of awe and fear. Perhaps it is the way the light falls upon these spaces or the connotations that we impose on them. Regardless of the reason, my urge to imbue value on these spaces exists.
I explore these ethereal qualities by juxtaposing moss in locations of worship. The moss installations are placed in abandoned empty spaces around the shrine.
